Crew ranks and hierarchy

Here are some general instructions about the crew officials, responsibilities and hierarchy.

1. As a rule of thumb, the number of members in each rank up to Lieutenant should be half of the number of members in the immediate lower rank. The number of the Commissioners will be adjusted as necessity or situation demands.

2. Promotions will be handed out on timely occasions to worthy members. Promotions will also depend on the vacancies in higher ranks as per point 1. Here are some tips if you want to guarantee your promotions when it's time to have some new faces in the office.

   (a) Always follow the code of conduct. Seriously, we don't want any troublemaker in the party.

   (b) Be regular, play more with us and get to be known by the higher ranked members. The more we trust you, the more responsibilities we will want to entrust you with.

   (c) Have a mic. To be a good leader, you have to be able to communicate in the first place.

   (d) Post your introduction in the "Introduce Yourself' section of this forum.

3. The highest rank crew member in a job will dictate the directions and strategies for the job. Equally ranked members will take part democratically in making any decision when necessary.

4. A long period of absence from the game without any prior notice may result in loss of ranks as we want to keep the office functional and active all the time. However, if you return and be regular again, we will be glad to reinstate your previous rank.
